Four things we decided early, because they are hard to add later.
The fee a member paid, and the rate in force the day they paid it, are written onto the row. Correcting a rate next month never restates last month's statement.
The whole member-facing platform, not a translated brochure page — right-to-left layout included, with each organisation choosing the language it opens in.
The treasurer sees finance, the registrar sees members, the board sees the board. Nobody has to be given everything just to do one job.
A body with no CPD scheme never sees CPD. The platform shrinks to the organisation rather than making it grow into the software.
